Paper published in Nature Materials

Our recent collaboration with the group of Prof. Molly Stevens (Imperial College, London) has resulted in the discovery of a new biosensing concept, which we denote as "inverse sensitivity" since the signal (localized surface plasmon resonance shift) increases as the concentration of the analyte decreases. This concept has been demonstrated to lead to unprecedented detection limits for prostate specific antigen (PSA). The work has just been published online in Nature Materials. See press releases about this work.
