Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher

Our group is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to participate in the development of a European project SERSing that aims at fast detection and unequivocal identification of chemical hazards at low concentrations in gas and liquid phase, in multiple environments. The research will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Isabel Pastoriza Santos.

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

• Design, simulation, fabrication and validation of high performance porous plasmonic platforms based on MOF/Silica/MIPs/COFs for direct/indirect SERS-based monitoring of toxic industrial compounds and chemical warfare agents.
• Participation in writing scientific reports and papers, attending project meetings and scientific conferences, and in outreach activities within the project.
• Supervision of students.

Summary of conditions:

• Full time work (40h/week)
• Contract Length: 1 year.
• Salary will depend on qualifications and demonstrated experience.
  Estimated Incorporation date: October 2020
